VanDusen - Flexbox/Grid

Project Purpose:

Redesign/improve the existing website. Gain valuable experience in developing a purposeful template layout, using advanced CSS elements of Flexbox and CSS Grid. Select a currently active website as base prospectus client, redesign the front page or one internal page, utilizing the current content (text, images, links, etc.) and basic colour scheme.

Project Brief:

• All layout structures where applicable, utilize either Flexbox or CSS Grid standards.
• A minimum of 2 alternative responsive layouts, taking into account the limitation of such devices (interactivity, orientation, readability). Media Queries suggested.
• No additional content are added or removed. All support material to the HTML are kept as external documents. This includes all stylesheets, and javascript.
• Redesign elements included: font selection (including proper typography), rearrangement of content importance and weight, navigational arrangements, and additions of animation.
• A critical component to redesigning a site, is optimization and the inclusion of modern technologies. Site optimization both in page weight and loading order are important.
